Taiwan Power Company will do the record periodically, and calculate the amount of sold electricity. After the application process id completed, Taiwan Power Company will do the record at the installed equipment position. Taiwan Power Company will send you “Wholesale purchase renewable energy tariff notice” about every two months and other relevant documents need to be stamped (Different rules in different districts). Please stamp the documents and send back to Taiwan Power Company, and then the money on the tariff notice will be remitted to your account.

ESH＝Equivalent insolation hours of installation site that is the amount of insoletion.
WPV＝The capacity of installed solar panels
PR＝Performance efficiency of the system. It depends on the design, construction, and component quality of system operators.
       We can get the maximum electricity generation capacity from the above formula (maximum income). It requires the best solar panels settled at the sites with good insolation, and operated by the most professional system operators. Thus, this system needs to operate continuously at least 20 years. If the initial setting chooses undesirable products or industries, the expected ROI cannot be reached, and may even result in huge loss.

       There are two parts of solar PV system: equipment and materials. The first one is solar panels, and based on the current technology, the products can operate for over 30 years. Only need to consider the capital and reputation of production plant. In the 20-year guarantee period, if the production specifications do not meet the regulation, the production plant need to survive and has the capability to handle. The second is that whether the other components and construction are correct or not will depend on system operators’ various guarantee schemes.
       If the above two parts are correct choices, then operating for 20 years is not a problem.

       In the past, Bureau of Energy promoted setting solar PV system by providing subsidy for general public, industries, schools, institutions, and juristic person, while training the manufacturers’ construction capability and experience. If the public refer to the information of the system operators, they can contact relevant public associations, such as Taiwan Photovoltaic Industry Association, Photovoltaic System Association, and other units.
